Uno Svensson’s apocalyptic theme forms an epic chronicle from the recent chapters. His paintings have a kind of mysterous beauty. Green is totally missing in them.

He has lived and worked most of his lifetime in Malmo, Paris and Nice. In 1949 he an his brother had made a journey by train through a Europe destroyed by bombs and only fragmentarily rebuilt, a trip that left lasting impressions.
