Richard WM Hudson
Richard WM Hudson, a seasoned mixed media artist, started gaining recognition with acquisitions by institutions like the Victoria and Albert Museum at just 16. With degrees in Theatre and Film Production Design from Central St Martins and the National Film School respectively, Hudson's work, influenced by his time in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and visits to Scotland and Wales, often incorporates foraged materials, resulting in pieces with a rustic, earthy charm. His woodworks evoke prehistoric fossils, while his ceramics, crafted from raw clays and adorned with foraged artifacts, offer poignant reflections on life and death.
